Amir is a long, athletic, highly versatile ATH who signed with Miami (OH) after drawing Big Ten Interest (Indiana, Michigan State, Penn State, etc.) He profiles as a defensive back and return specialist with immediate special teams impact ability. Also has the flexibility to contribute as a Db or potential gadget player on offensive side of the ball early in his college career. His elite athletic traits combined with natural playmaking instincts, ball skills, and scheme/positional versatility make him a high-upside MAC recruit who can create mismatches in space and on returns. His lean frame is the only weakness we see on film right now, that can be easily overcome if he chooses to work on that at the next level, but his speed might be at risk if that happens. I think Miami (OH) was a perfect fit for Morelan he adds to their backfield depth and special teams excitement style player and will continue to develop after enrollment.
